He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Brunke and Hilda Brunke; his son Chris Brunke; and his siblings, Betty Hoffman, Patricia Hulliberger, Judy Doring and Robert "Sonny" Brunke.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Brunke; his children, Rob Brunke (Lori) and Jill Phillips; his daughter-in-law Ginnie Brunke; his grandchildren, Joshua Brunke, Alexa Brunke and Christy Brunke; and his sisters, Marilyn Schultz and Joyce Lindahl-Wooten.

Memorial donations in Lawrence's honor may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
