She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Martin and Francis Martin; and her sister Francis Ward. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Schmitt (Bill) and Nicole Strong (Chris); and her siblings, Katherine Hanna (Steve Nelson) and Paul Martin (Catherine).
Burial will take place in IOOF cemetery in New Haven Laurie's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
