We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 95, Kathryn A. Bloom of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Bowen (Rowe) and J. T. Bowen; her husband Clarence Nicholas Bloom; and her sons, James and Jeffrey.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Bloom, Janet Baltzell (Gary), Linda Burrell (Gus), Robert Bloom (Mary) and Martha Conkling (Andrew); and her daughter-in-law Deb Bloom. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Katie's name to Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of DAR, Settlers Inc. or Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society.
