She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Nix and Mary Nix. She is survived by: her husband Cliff Hallgren; her children, Ken, Bob Hallgren (Julie) and Jackie Hallgren; her grandchildren, Casey, Adam Hallgren and Hudson Brooks; and her sisters, Janet Briner, Susan Callison, Sharon Ruhe and Shirley Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
