He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiades Gomez and Teresa Gomez (Gonzales); his son George Lechleidner; his granddaughter Noele Renee Trice; and his great grandchild Madalyn Grace Solis.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Gomez; and his children, Richard Gomez (Caroline), Connie Villafana (Fernando), Veronica Hoy (Pete), Kimberly Gomez and Heather Gomez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; along with 5 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
