He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Torrez and Natalia Torrez (Roman); and his siblings, Jose, Miquel, Charlie, Paul, Pete, Felice Carrillo, Frances Vasquez and Margaret Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Penny); his children, Brenda Morales (Luis) and John Thomas Torrez (Carol); and his sister Natividad Martinez. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
