John Edward Schafer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 84, John Edward Schafer of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Schafer and Evelyn M. Schafer; his former wife Sandra L. "Sandy" Schafer; and his brother Donald G Schafer. He is survived by: his wife Elaine M. Schafer; and his children, Lisa A. Storms and Jeffrey S. Schafer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 14 step grandchildren, and 2 step great-grandchildren.
