He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Grant and Virginia Grant (Sanders); and his son Robert John "Bobby" Grant. He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. McClelland; his daughters, Kathryn DeWitt (Brian) of Logansport, IN and Kristine Giant (Kirk) of Fort Wayne, IN.; his granddaughters, Allison DeWitt, Molly DeWitt Burkhardt (David), Kelsey Elett (Travis), Kendra Giant and Katie McHenry (Jordan); his brother-in-law Michael McClelland (Vicki); and his nephews, Scott McClelland (Stephanie) and John McClelland (Debbie).
