It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Philip Burt of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Burt and Gertrude Burt; his significant other Barbara Ann Burger; his children, Brian Burt (Kelly), Steven Burt and Julie Ruef; his grandchildren, Cormac, Shannon, Quinn, Ben and Ryan; and his siblings, Catherine Burt (Cathy), Robert Burt (Bob) and Janie Taylor. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
