With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Lorenc of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lorenc and Mary Lorenc; and his siblings, Mary Korzi, Pearl Trovato and Thomas Lorenc.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Leonard; his children, Timothy Lorenc (Christina), Thomas Lorenc (Lisa) and Kristen Gandolfo (Mike); his grandchildren, Isabella, Gianna, Elijah, Sam, Levi, Frankie, Andie, Aaron and Ethan; and his sister Susan Lorenc.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
