He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Daugherty and Mable Daugherty (Shirely); his spouse Deborahjo Lopshire; his son Christopher Daugherty; and his siblings, Rex Daugherty, William Daugherty, Maxine Brown and Shirley DeWitt.
He is survived by: his sons, Kerry Daugherty (Lisa) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jamie Daugherty (Danielle) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his sister Sheryl Daugherty of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Bryon, Jesse, Kyle and Dakota.
