He is survived by: his wife Sheila "Sheila Girl" Hamilton-Taylor; his daughters, Tonia Lorentz (Barry), Mandy Doyle (Casey) and Cecily Martin Kern (Dikky); his grandchildren, Stephanie Wahl, Jamie Lorentz, Ashley Johnston, Abbi Bell, Jordan Martin, David Hernandez, Paige Kern, Lillian Kern and Leona Kern; and his sisters, Nona Smith, June Muse and Bonnie Taylor-Cox. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests donations in John's memory be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous or American Diabetes Association.
