He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Bengs and Linda Bengs (Schultz). He is survived by: his sister Judi Bengs Tennison; his sons, Alan (Juliana) and Andrew (Alisa); his grandchildren, Mackenzie of Dashel, A. J., Allie and Lexi; his stepsons, Mike Stetzel and Jeff Stetzel; and his former wives, Patricia Ansberry and Pat Bengs.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
