He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Amelung; his stepchildren, Shelly Blackburn and John Beckman Jr. (Lisa); his granddaughters, Jessica Gervais (Ed), Sara Blackburn and Hannah Beckman; his great grandchildren, Eddie, Eliza, Emilia and Evelynn; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Jessica and Jennifer; and his siblings, Richard Amelung (Anna) and Carolyn Amelung. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
