Joanna Nakos Obituary
In loving memory of Joanna Nakos (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who departed this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Joanna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikos Antonopoulos and Helen Antonopoulos; her grandfather Dimitri Dassis; and her son Christos Jr. Robert. She is survived by: her daughter Helen; her husband Christos Nakos; her sons, Nikos and Telly (Tamara); her grandchildren, Christos III, Athena (Jordan), Aristotle, Sophia, Robert IV (Emily) and Katie; and her great grandchildren, River and Quinn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (110 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Lindenwood Cemetery (2324 W Main St, Fort Wayne, IN 46808).
