It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan (Best) M. Mitchell (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore M. Best and Wilma Reuille; and her siblings, Maurice and Marjorie Best. She is survived by: her children, Greg Mitchell (Debbie) of Markle, IN, Teresa Mabe (Kenneth) of Newnan, GA and Susan Maloney (Michael) of Ossian, IN; her grandchildren, Justin Maloney (Colleen), Tony Dellinger (Michelle), Stephen Mitchell (Amber), Jimmy (Lindsay), Kylie Worthman (Matt) and Robert Mabe (Rebecca); her brother Tom Best (Nancy); and her pet Gus. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
