He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Kessens and Anna E. Kessens (Weber); and his siblings, Rosanne Kessens, Mary Agnes Zoeller and Philip Kessens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Miriam Thomas Kessens and Thomas P. Kessens of Lafayette. He is also survived by seven nieces & nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (518 E Dewald St, Fort Wayne, IN 46803).
