She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Slater and Elizabeth Slater; and her sister Suzanne Boening. She is survived by: her husband James Adair; her sons, Mark Adair (Jennifer), Jon Adair (Heidi) and Eric Adair (Leslie); her siblings, John Slater (Roberta) and Jacqueline Witte; and her brother-in-law John Adair (Virgie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church and Parkview Hospice.
