He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schorey and Joan Schorey (Lydy); his wife Lisa Schorey; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Elaine Schorey.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lemler Funeral Home (308 W Washington St, Bluffton, IN 46714).
