James W. Goodpaster Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James W. Goodpaster (Fort Wayne, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Goodpaster to pay them a last tribute.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his children, Vicki Frier (Ken), Karen Zolman, Jimi Goodpaster (Tessa), Mindi Hemminger, Chris Seacott (Kai) and Kelly Russ.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post #82 (2123 Taylor St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802).
