He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Cahill Gross; his sisters, Betty, Eileen and Nancy; and his father Ralph Albines Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia DeKoninck; his brother Jerome Rinehart (Jan); his children, Melissa, Aimee and Benjamin (Joshua Cobbs); and his grandchildren, Sedona Purdy, Harper Rinehart-Cobbs, Ramey Rinehart-Cobbs and Lev Vitrak.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Humane Fort Wayne or Lutheran Life Villages.
