It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Johnson (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Johnson and Thelma Johnson; his siblings, Ira, Dolan Johnson, Versa Jordan, Shirley Jones and Annie Bell; and his grandson JoeVonn Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Johnson; his children, James Johnson Jr. (Nita), DeeAnn White-Gardner (Kenneth) and Regina Peterson (Tarik); and his siblings, Willodean McCary of Fort Wayne, Rudolph and WJ Johnson of Alabama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
