He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Parks and Sara Beulah Parks (Short); his wife Sandra J. McCloud; and his siblings, Walter Parks, Michael Parks, Roy McCloud, Bobby Parks and Sheila Parks.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Seiker (Jerry) of Beavercreek, Michelle Minick (David Lee) of Fort Wayne, Teresa Tomlin of Fairborn and Amanda McCloud of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his close friends, Cora Bowers of Dayton, Ohio and Eddie Vires. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home (1327 N Wells St, Fort Wayne, IN 46808). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
