He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wetzel and Erma Wetzel (Graft); his former wife Sharon Aukerman; his son Matthew Wetzel; and his grandparents, Herman and Pearl Graft.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Majocchi; his children, Timothy Wetzel (Nikki) of Fort Wayne, Kristine Wetzel of Fort Wayne and Shelly Drew (Thomas) of Fort Wayne; his daughter-in-law Rose Wetzel of Fort Wayne; his stepchildren, Diana Martin of Fort Wayne, Paula Duncan (Earl) of Avilla, Bryan Jacobi of Fort Wayne and Robin Zumbrun (Zach) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Chloe Wetzel, Caleb Wetzel, Breanna Wetzel, Vincent Munoz and Noah Drew; and his stepgrandchildren, Adam Leon, Alexander Leon, Victoria Thiele, Allison Jacobi, Jake Jacobi, Evan Martin, Sadie Zumbrun and Samantha Zumbrun.
