He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Maxwell and Rosemary Maxwell; his wife Mary Jo; his daughter-in-law Lee Maxwell; and his brother Carl E. "Gene" Maxwell.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Maxwell, Jack Maxwell Jr. (Joy), Greg Maxwell Sr., Kelly Maxwell, Bob Maxwell (Sharon), Eric Maxwell (Becky), Kathy Harris and Michelle Maxwell; and his close friend Fizz. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
