He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Bertha; his wife Joan Lininger; and his sister Betty Green. He is survived by: his children, Carole Matthews (Tom) of Fort Wayne, IN, H. Douglas Lininger (Sue) of Windsor, VA and Scott B. Lininger (Kristin) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his sister Shirley Waite of Erie, PA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to North Park Christian Church or Stillwater Hospice.
