It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda A. Volmerding of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman C. Wiegmann and Anna Marie Wiegmann (Bleeke); her husband Kenneth J. Volmerding; and her siblings, Harold Wiegmann, Herbert Wiegmann, Helmut Wiegmann, Hanna L. Marron and Betty Jane LaFever.

She is survived by: her sons, Kent S. Volmerding (Joyce) and David L. Volmerding (Misty); her grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Brandon and Kierstin Volmerding; and her great grandchildren, Claire and Nora.
