Herman L. Guenin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman L. Guenin of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claston E. Guenin and Lucy M. Guenin (Witwer); his former wife Wanda F. Hockemeyer; his children, Brenda Radabaugh and Ward Guenin; and his siblings, Walter, Lloyd Guenin, Esther Mitch and Grace Mitch.
He is survived by: his wife Vera J. Minich (Fuhrman); his sons, Craig Guenin (Ina) of Monroeville and Kenton Guenin (Jenn) of New Haven, Indiana.; his brother Frank Guenin (Irene) of Monroeville, Indiana; his stepchildren, Larry Minich (Kathy) of Hoagland, Terry Meyers (Mitch) of Rome City, Lisa England of Greenfield and Jody Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his brothers, Roy Guenin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Harvey Guenin (Dee Whittern) of Markle, Indiana and Keith Guenin (Marna) of Greenfield, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Chad Guenin (Stacie), Denise Perdue (Chris), David Guenin (Naomi), Kari Litke (Cecil), Jenny Kaley, Amy Radabaugh, Heath Guenin, Troy Guenin (Allie Brumbaugh), Sean Guenin, Ketmany Brumbaugh (Paul), Anton Guenin, Kensington Guenin and Kaylienne Guenin. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, alongside eight step-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne; St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock or NE Indiana Honor Flight.
