It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Kathleen Hammons (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben McReynolds and Evelyn McReynolds. She is survived by: her husband William E. Hammons Jr.; and her sons, Bill Hammons III (Jill), Douglas Hammons (Doretha Ballard) and Jim Hammons (Debbie). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne.
