She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Akins and Josephine Akins (Bechtel); her husband James P. Boschet; and her siblings, Mary Ann Rhoades and Franklin Akins.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Hull of Fort Wayne, David Boschet (Janet) of Eustis, Deborah Bielan (Karl) of Wittmann, Ariz, Thomas Boschet of Fort Wayne, Linda Boschet of Fort Wayne and Diana Ervin of Fort Wayne; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Hardwick of Fort Wayne, Andre Hull of Fort Wayne, Dana Ervin of Fort Wayne and Taylor Abdon of Fort Wayne.

Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Humane Fort Wayne (formerly Allen County SPCA).
