He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Witte and Emilia Witte (Springer); his former wife Norene; his daughter-in-law Sarah Witte; his siblings, Herbert, Harold Witte, Arvada Waterson, Vera Merica and Elda Braun; and also, Carrol Witte, Gary and Brian Witte.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Lecher (Mark), Randy, Gregg (Mary) and Kent Witte (Laura). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harper's Community Funeral Home (740 IN-930, New Haven, IN 46774). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (800 Green St, New Haven, IN 46774). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
