We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 78, Glen Francis Grate of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Auburn, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grate and Laura Edith Grate (Thomson); his siblings, Herb, Dwight Grate and Carolyn Anthony; and his brothers-in-law, Lynn Anthony and Don Teders.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bojrab of Alban's Episcopal Church; his son Austin J. Grate (Whitney); his sisters, Connie Teders, Coleen Hart (Lynn) and Bonnie Gehring (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Sadie Grate (Herb), Beverly Grate (Dwight) and Bob Bojrab (Carol). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and their extended families.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Saint Alban Episcopal Church, Parkview Home Health Care, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, or Heartland Hospice Care.
