He was predeceased by: his parents, Orla Bickel and Cora Bickel (Kaderly); and his siblings, Paul, Carl, Earl, Lester, Juanieta Bickel and Esther Beck.
He is survived by: his nieces, Mary and Melissa; his wife Clarissa "Chris" Bickel of Fort Wayne; his niece Connie Wortham of Pasadena, California.; his nephews, Paul Bickel of Anderson, Indiana. and Rick (Deb Beck); his great-nephew Jim (Mary Soden); and also Melissa Soden of Fort Wayne, Indiana..
