She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Gerig and Rose Gerig; her sister Berdaline Cleveland (Gerig); her brother-in-law Donald Cleveland; her brother Gerald Gerig; her sister-in-law Coyla Gerig; and her close friends, P. O. Box and Fort Wayne.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Caroline Gerig (Perry); and her nieces and nephews, Diana Gallup (Cleveland), Allen Cleveland, Vicki Macaluso (Cleveland), Kurt Gerig, Marcia VanGelder (Gerig), LuAnn Fulton (Gerig), Denise Schlueter (Gerig) and Douglas Gerig. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
