It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Pettit of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Geraldine; his siblings, Mary Lou Berry, Anne Therese Pettit, Ted Pettit, Jim Pettit and Harvey Pettit; the mother of his children Jeanene Roth; his sons-in-law, Daniel Carey and Kevin Rowe; and his great grandchildren, Coltyn Rowe, Wyatt Rowe and Rayonah Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherrill Carey of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
