Gene Keith Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Keith Smith of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S. Smith and Roxy C. Smith (Paul); and his siblings, Virgil L. Smith, Ricky Paul Smith, Norma Koch and Carol Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette; his children, Kimberly Griffiths (Terry) of Fort Wayne and Keith Smith of Buffalo Grove, IL; his sister Judy Kneisley (Rick) of Texas; his grandchildren, Ashley Griffiths, Tyler Griffiths (Alexus), Olive Smith and Miles Smith; and his great grandchild Ila Griffiths. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park (4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
