He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Stephens; his parents, Irma Homer and Jesse Stephens; and his siblings, Carolyn Guthier, Nancy Smith and Dale Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Renee and Jason Stephens; and his granddaughter Nevaeh.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association in Gary's memory.
