He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick J. Dumit and Kathryn Dumit (Rossman). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Dumit; his children, Jennifer Miller (Matthew), Chris Dumit (Hannah) and Michelle Komprood (Brian); and his grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Quinn, Garik, Reid, Silas and Katie.
