He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ward of Fort Wayne; and his children, Timothy Ward (Lisa) of Fort Wayne, Nathan Ward (Cindy) of Umatilla, FL and Elisabeth Jacoby (David) of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
