Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Louise Kahlenbeck (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 100, on April 27, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Scribner and Nellie Scribner (Sheets); her husband Bob Kahlenbeck; her children, Sharon Kahlenbeck and Jerald Kahlenbeck; and her siblings, Doris Scribner, Peggy Bair, Florence Addis, Raymond Scribner and Harold Scribner.
She is survived by: her sons, William (Betty) and Ned Kahlenbeck; and her siblings, Keith Scribner, Verne Scribner and Shirley Warner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
