We bid farewell to Evelyn Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Evelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Evelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Groves and Vesta Groves; her former husband Fred Stark; her husband Don Jones; and her siblings, Robert Groves and Dorothy Gerhard.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Chavez (John), Michael Stark (Chris), Nancy Stark and Deborah McNair (Andrew). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
