He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Geneva Stech (Ervin); his wife Evelyn A. Stech; and his brother Jeffrey Stech. He is survived by: his children, Errol L. Stech (Tina), Ken Stech (Michele), Tim Stech (Terri), Kandy White (Rob) and Amy Gruss (Steve). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice or St Jude Children's hospital.
