We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Elmer Dietrick Carl Schaefer of Fort Wayne, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schaefer and Ella Schaefer (Tielker); and his brother Marvin Schaefer. He is survived by: his children, Ted Schaefer (Lola) of Dawsonville, Steve Schaefer (Cheryl Livingston) of Fort Wayne, Mary Kay Ehlerding (Don) of Fort Wayne, LuAnn Lantz (Lyle) of Cape Coral, Fla., Elaine Jones (Scott) of Lakewood, Colo and Molly Banko (Dave) of Marietta; and his sisters, Lorna Kukelhan of Fort Wayne and Dina Swing of Kokomo. He is also survived by friends, relatives.

In place of flowers, memorial donations in Elmer's honor may be made to Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, or A Mother's Hope.
