With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Helen Bremer (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry F. Helmke and Ida Helmke (Eggers); her former husband Reynold Roemke; her daughter Jane Litzenberg; and her siblings, Eilert, Hubert, Roland Helmke (Punk) and Eleanor Werling.

She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Litzenberg; her husband Orville Bremer; her children, Kerry Litzenberg (Sandra) of College Station, Julie Hockemeyer (Robert) of Monroeville and Ted Litzenberg (Marian) of Woodburn; her stepchildren, Rose Richardson (Paul) of Woodburn, Dan Bremer (Sandi) of Monroeville, Steve Bremer (Terri) of Woodburn, Kurt Bremer (Sherri) of New Haven and Nancy Fenske (James) of Westlake, Ohio; her brother Dick Helmke (Lois) of Fort Wayne; and her grandchildren, James Hockemeyer, Karen Zuhn, Heidi Sims, Sara Rueda, Jane Crouse, Kenneth Litzenberg, Bryan Richardson, Jennifer Potter and Dustin Richardson. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
