He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Baker and Hilda "Nita" Baker; his brother David Baker; his son-in-law Brian Lytle; and his grandson Evan Lytle.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Baker (Koenig); his children, April Pedersen (Todd Speight), Crystal Lytle (Nathan Lay), Ed Baker (Abby) and Cory Baker (Laura); his grandchildren, Morgan Baker, Danielle Pedersen, Kyle Lytle, Justin Pedersen, Calvin Baker, Emily Baker, Matthew Baker, Ethan Baker, Madeline Baker, Nolan Baker and Jason Baker; his great grandchild Raina Lytle; his sister Charlene Randolph (Darrell); and his sister-in-law Charlotte Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
