With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Joy Bearman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Ossian, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Frye and Effie Frye; her husband Richard "Dick" Bearman; and her sisters, Rosalyn Smith and Gwen Shields.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Judy (Scott) of Bloomfield, Ind., Tim Bearman (Regina) of Fort Wayne and Amy Stewart (Matthew) of Grabill; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan, Jazlyn, Emma, Bo and AJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Michael Lutheran Church.
