He is survived by: his wife Julia Bayman-Scare; his son Jeffrey Scare (Robin); his stepsons, Troy Bayman (Stacie) and Clint Bayman (Adam Porter); and his siblings, Carole Sorg (Ron) and Donald Scare (Dee Dee). He is also survived by 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 1 great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to Harvest Fellowship or Woodburn Christian Children's Home.
