It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dwight McCoy of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCoy and Rosetta McCoy (Bye); and his sister Sharon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCoy (Vette); his children, Tamara Pluimer (Michael) and Robert McCoy (Amy); his grandchildren, Brian (Mariah), Kaitlyn Pluimer, Owen and Caleb McCoy; his great grandchild Koe Pluimer; and his brother Roland McCoy.

Memorial donations may be given to Project 216 in care of Covenant United Methodist Church, 10001 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne 46825.
