She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wheat and Helen Wheat (Bookout); her son Anthony Christman; her brother Tom Wheat; and her former husbands, Charles L. Christman and Robert Rioux.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndie Zorger (Les), Rick Christman (Terri), Amy Christman, Rose Terrell (Bruce), Tim Christman (Sheryl), Beth Marhenke (Kevin), David Christman (Julie) and Mindy Davis (Preston); and her sister Ruth Shifferly. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
