Dick Hathaway Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dick Hathaway of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton "Hap" Hathaway and Erma Hathaway (Rose); and his sisters, Gloria Yagodinski, Dorothy Ford and Marjorie Norton.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Hathaway (Reuille); his children, Laura Gammons (Paul) of Fort Wayne, Nancy Vandell (Chip) of Fort Wayne, Sharon Garrett (Jason) of Fort Wayne, Gordon Hathaway (Cris) of New Haven and Rex Hathaway of New Haven; and his brother Donald Hathaway of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (943 Powers St, New Haven, IN 46774).
